Paul S. Wolansky is a founder of New China Capital Management, and has served as Chief Executive Officer since inception. Mr. Wolansky serves, or has served, as a Director of many Cathay's portfolio companies, and is the Chairman of the Investment Committee. Mr. Wolansky was formerly a Managing Director of Paloma Partners. Mr. Wolansky received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College, a JD degree from The Harvard Law School, and is admitted to practice law as a member of the bar of the State of NY.
Ling Liu

Ling M. Liu, who joined New China Capital Management in 2004, is primarily responsible for the implementation of exit strategies and evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities. Ms. Liu is a member of the Investment Committee. Ms. Liu has extensive experience in capital markets and M&A transactions for Chinese enterprises. Prior to joining New China, Ms. Liu was a Vice President in the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley, Hong Kong and New York. Previously, Ms. Liu was a management consultant at Deloitte & Touche Consulting in Hong Kong and Andersen Consulting in New York. Ms. Liu received a Bachelor of Science from SUNY Albany and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. Ms. Liu was born and raised in Shanghai and speaks English, Mandarin, Shanghainese and Cantonese.
Xubo Chu

Xubo Chu rejoined New China Capital Management in 2013, having previously served in a senior management position from 2005 to 2011. Mr. Chu has 20 years of investment management experience in China. Mr. Chu is primarily responsible for sourcing, evaluation and supervision of portfolio companies. He is also a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Chu is the chief representative of the Beijing office and is also responsible for government relations. Previously, Mr. Chu was a Managing Director of SEEC Investment Management, which assisted the Cathay Investment Fund in its initial years. Mr. Chu received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Peking University. Mr. Chu speaks English and Mandarin and lives in Beijing.
Yuan Liu

Ryan Liu joined New China Capital Management in 2010, and is responsible for sourcing, analyzing new investment opportunities, investment execution, and monitoring of existing portfolio companies. Mr. Liu previously worked as an analyst in New China's US office. Previously, Mr. Liu was a Vice President at China First Capital, Ltd. Prior to which he was a manager in the R&D and business development at Alcatel (now Alcatel-Lucent) and as a marketing manager at high-tech start-up TimiTech. Mr. Liu received a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Engineering Degree from Harbin Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson Business School. Mr. Liu speaks English and Mandarin and lives in Shanghai.
J. David Selvia

J. David Selvia joined New China Capital Management in 2006, and is responsible for sourcing, analyzing new investment opportunities and implementing investment projects. Previously, Mr. Selvia served as the Business Development Director for GE Capital (Asia) and Business Development Manager with GE Corporate Initiatives Group, both in Shanghai. Mr. Selvia received a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from Boston University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania as well as a Master's degree in International Relations from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Selvia speaks English and Mandarin and lives in Shanghai.
Anita Eng

Anita Eng is responsible for financial and investor reporting as well as due diligence review and monitoring of existing portfolio companies. Previously, she served as Assistant Vice President of regulatory and financial reporting for Greenwich Capital Markets, Inc., and as auditor-in-charge of diversified business and operational areas at Salomon Brothers, CIGNA Corporation and Coopers & Lybrand. Ms. Eng received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters degree in Business Administration from New York University. Ms. Eng speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Hermann Leung

Hermann Ping-Chung Leung, Consultant and ex-Operating Partner in Hong Kong office, has worked with New China Capital Management exclusively since 1998. Mr. Leung has over thirty years of management and operational experience throughout the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Leung served as CEO of Tate & Lyle PLC (a joint venture between Tate & Lyle and Swire Group) and held various management and executive positions in the Sun Wah Group of Hong Kong. At Tate & Lyle, Mr. Leung ran a large sugar refinery located in Guangxi province, PRC. At Sun Wah Group, Mr. Leung was responsible for the development and implementation of new businesses in China and throughout Asia. Mr. Leung received a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree and an M.B.A. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Mr. Leung speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese and is based in Hong Kong.
